Trek Fuel EX 9.8 in Nantwich, Cheshire for sale

I’m selling my Trek Fuel EX 9.8, size 17.5". I bought it in August 2013 and unfortunately had minimal use from new - I bought a road bike a few months later and the mountain bike has sat redundant since. As much as I’d like to keep hold of it it, it’s too nice to have sat doing nothing. It’s pretty much immaculate. I bought it from Mud Dock in Bristol and I had the frame stripped down when brand new and covered in heavy duty transparent helicopter tape to protect it. The cost of the tape and labour was £200 alone. Whilst you can see the the joins in the plastic covering, it’s kept the frame as new. Obviously it can be remove if wanted, but makes it much easier to clean and stops any potential scrapes and scratches typically picked up on mountain bikes. The chainset has a little of the black colouring rubbed as per the photo, due to rubbing against my shoes - it’s not ‘damage’, just a bit of wear. There’s also a tiny mark on the fork, again as per the photo. The bike is full Shimano XT throughout, including brakes, and the rear mech has a clutch too. It also has a RockShox Stealth Reverb seat post too. The bars are carbon. The wheels are essentially as new and there’s life left in the original tyres. On 1/3/14 the front and rear shocks were sent away for service at a cost of £295. The bike had a full service 5/4/14 as per the service report photo and receipt, detailing the frame was stripped and cleaned, rear hub serviced, BB stripped and cleaned etc and pads replaced front and rear at a cost of £115. Receipts provided for both. The bike has probably been used a handful of times since these were carried out and has not been used whatsoever since May 2014! New it's a £4000 bike.
